Most Ukrainians consider corruption to be the most serious problem in their country and are convinced that it cannot be overcome only through the efforts of the authorities, according to a survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the sociological service of the Razumkov Center.

According to the poll, 91% of citizens consider corruption to be a serious problem, with 61% of respondents sure that this is the most serious problem that hinders the development of the country.

At the same time, 4% of respondents admit that there is a problem of corruption, but it is not too serious, and 0.5% of those polled think it is far-fetched.

In addition, 61% of respondents believe that corruption cannot be overcome only through the efforts of the authorities. Some 26% of respondents hold the opposite opinion.
