Government to allocate once again UAH 1 bln for development of film industry

The Government included UAH 1 billion in the draft law on the state budget for 2019 to improve the development of Ukrainian cinema production.
“Ukrainian cinema is becoming more popular. In 2018, the shooting of 29 films has been completed, and the year is not yet over. We allocate UAH 1 billion for 2019 in order to support the film production,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman wrote on his Facebook page.
He is sure that there will be more quality movies in Ukraine.
As reported, in 2018 the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 1 billion for the development of Ukrainian film production.
