Justice Ministry recovers over UAH 3.6 bln in child support debts in 2018

The state enforcement officers of the Justice Ministry of Ukraine have recovered over UAH 3.6 billion in child support debts since the start of the year, according to Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko. 

“The enforcement officers of the Justice Ministry have already collected UAH 3.6 million in child support debts in favor of Ukrainian children in 2018," Petrenko wrote on Facebook.

According to Petrenko, UAH 1.5 billion of this sum has been collected due to the changes introduced to the laws on child support provision.

He also noted that this sum was collected in the period from January 1 to October 22, 2018.
