Deputy Information Policy Minister Dmytro Zolotukhin said this at the HackIT 4.0 cybersecurity forum, according to the ministry's press service.
"During his speech at the opening of the conference, Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Dmytro Zolotukhin noted that the Information Policy Ministry continues to work on the problem of Ukraine's cybersecurity in three areas - communication, education and legislation. In particular, the crisis communication system, which is crucial for minimizing the consequences during various cyberattacks, is being improved," reads the report.
The ministry also deals with issues of cyber literacy, especially in government agencies, since the overwhelming majority of all vulnerabilities in information systems are based on a human factor.
The largest cybersecurity forum in Eastern Europe - HackIT 4.0 - was held in Kyiv. The event, organized by Hacken, brought together data security and blockchain experts, entrepreneurs, and white hat hackers.
The conference was attended by about 50 speakers from Ukraine, France, Britain, Canada, China, Turkey, Romania, and other countries.
