Poroshenko signs law on access of persons with special educational needs to education

"The law provides for the implementation and realization of international and European standards to protect the rights and legitimate interests of people with special educational needs and bring the above-mentioned legislative acts in line with the norms of the international law and the basic Law of Ukraine ‘On Education,” reads the reported.

It is noted that the implementation of the law will promote the development and socialization of people with special educational needs.

The law amends the laws of Ukraine “On General Secondary”, “On Out-of-school Education”, and “On Vocational Education and Training” so that to ensure the rights of persons with special educational needs to acquire education, to obtain psychological and educational services, as well as special training services at educational establishments.
