11,500 participants from 45 countries to participate in Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon

General Manager of Run Ukraine Dmytro Chernytskyi stated this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“This year we expect 11,500 runners from 45 countries of the world. 250 out of 600 foreign participants will arrive to participate in the 42 km marathon,” said Chernytskyi.

He noted that fundraising is one of the ideas the marathon seeks to develop.

"We want people to understand that with the help of the marathon one can do something good, that one can run not only for own results but so that to help others. This is a very cool model because we not just transfer funds for charity but also participle in this,” he said.
