Kyiv's Solomiansky District Court will hold a session on Friday, September 14, to select a measure of restraint for Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan, the court's press service has said.

"On September 14, 2018, at 10.00, a court session will be held to consider the petition to select a measure of restraint for Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan. An investigative judge is Serhiyenko," the statement reads.

Ukrinform reported earlier that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) on September 13 notified Omelyan of the suspicion of illegal enrichment and declaration of untrue information.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will demand in court that a measure of restraint in the form of UAH 5 million bail be chosen for the infrastructure minister.

The petition will be considered by judge Hanna Serhiyenko.
