About 6 mln tourists already visit Odesa region this year

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration.

"Last year, 5.7 million tourists visited Odesa region. In January-August 2018, this figure has been already exceeded. Odesa region has become popular among tourists from Israel, Turkey, Germany, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Belarus and the Philippines. The number of guests from Poland and Austria is also growing," Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Maksym Stepanov said.

As for domestic tourism, most often, guests from Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia regions spent their holidays in Odesa region.

The Odesa Regional State Administration reminded that the development of tourism is one of the priorities of the Strategic Action Plan "Smart Region" for 2017-2019.
