Ukraine for the first time participated in the Global Digital Health Partnership Summit held in London (UK) and joined the Global Digital Health Partnership.

"The Health Ministry of Ukraine together with representatives of 22 world countries discussed the possibility of global cooperation in the development and implementation of new approaches in terms of latest technologies. Currently, the Global Digital Health Partnership develops a common terminology, a common stance on information, its use and safety," the press service of the Health Ministry of Ukraine reports.

As Acting Health Minister of Ukraine Ulana Suprun noted, it is an important step for Ukraine in the direction of high-quality, efficient and safe medical care.

"We are talking about the possibility of constant exchange of experience and successful implementation of digital services. The main goal of our community is the global development of eHealth in all its contexts, from knowledge sharing to collective protection against cyber threats. We are convinced that technologies and eHealth will become powerful catalysts for this process, especially taking into account the Ukrainian IT potential," Suprun said.
