Maryna Poroshenko opens new resource center for inclusive education in Kyiv region

President's wife Maryna Poroshenko took part in the opening of Boryspil resource center for inclusive education.  

The center is located in the village of Prolisky, BoryspIl district of Kyiv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The network of resource centers for inclusive education is an important step in the creation of a modern and European system of providing psychological, pedagogical and remedial services for children with special educational needs," Maryna Poroshenko noted.

She also added that Kyiv region is the leader in the creation of resource centers for inclusive education, with 41 such centers out of a total number of 322 around Ukraine.

In turn, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleksandr Horhan noted that the creation of this center cost about UAH 7 million, of which UAH 5 million was allocated from Boryspil district budget and the rest of the sum was provided from the regional and state budgets.
