The head of the regional department of education and science, Olha Khoma, told this to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"This year, as in the previous one, we focus on creating conditions for integrating children with special educational needs into the educational space. We already have 96 inclusive classrooms that cover 140 such children. In the new academic year, there will be 20 inclusive resource centers that will provide special education services to more than 13,000 children," said Khoma.
She also added that almost 90 assistants of teachers and educators will be involved in the work of the newly created inclusive classrooms.
