Law enforcers to ensure public order during Independence Day celebration - Kniazev

Chief of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Kniazev says that law enforcement officers are ready to maintain security and public order during festive events on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
"The numerical strength of the National Police is sufficient to ensure public order during the celebration of the Independence Day at a decent level," Knyazev stressed, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
As reported, according to the Interior Ministry, during the Independence Day celebration, more than a thousand solemn events are planned to be held, which will be attended by approximately 700 thousand citizens.
To ensure security and public order these days, all the units of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine will be involved.
