Pension Fund: 44.7% of registered retirees in Donetsk region are IDPs

The Information and Internal Policy Department at Donetsk Military and Civil Regional Administration reported this referring to Head of the Main Department of the Pension Fund in Donetsk region, Natalia Rad.

"As of August 1, 2018, the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region registered 506.9 thousand retired persons who are internally displaced persons. This is 44.7% of the total number of registered retired persons in the region," said Rad.

According to her, 210.9 thousand people from internally displaced persons receive pensions. In total, the Pension Fund in Donetsk region received 739 thousand applications for the renewal of pension payments over the period from July 2014 to August 2018.

As of August 1, 2018, an average pension payment in Donetsk region amounted to UAH 3,382.
