USAID delegation in Kramatorsk discusses further cooperation and coordination
The Department of Information and Internal Policy of the Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration reported this on Monday.
"A working meeting of representatives of the Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration headed by the head of the region, Oleksandr Kuts, and the delegation of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was held in Kramatorsk. During the meeting, the parties discussed future programs of USAID aimed at developing the economy, small and medium-sized businesses, civil society and at implementing services, as well as opportunities for further cooperation and coordination," the report reads.
In May 2018, during a press conference in Sloviansk, Assistant Administrator for USAID's Bureau for Europe and Eurasia Brock Bierman announced that Ukraine would receive $125 million from USAID for the restoration of Donbas and adjacent territories. The purpose of this assistance aimed at further stabilization and consolidation of Ukrainian communities, enhancing the stability of the local economy and accelerating its development.
