Ukrainian, Azerbaijani ministers discuss prospects for cooperation between countries

The culture minister of Azerbaijan noted the intensive development of cooperation between the two countries in many areas - culture, economy, science, modern technologies, and stressed that the main impetus of good relations was the sector of culture and humanitarian ties, the Governmental portal reported.

"Cultural exchange between our countries will increase common awareness of culture as the main component of society's life," he said.

In particular, during the meeting, the parties considered the issues of closer cooperation in the implementation of joint Ukrainian-Azerbaijani art projects, exchange of specialists and establishment of ties between cultural institutions of the two countries.

The culture minister of Ukraine expressed high interest in the implementation of joint cultural initiatives.

"We are open to such communication and the world practice shows that an intercultural dialogue and the exchange of cultural technologies are very important for the overall development of society," the minister stressed.
