Over 9 mln Ukrainians signed declarations with doctors

This data has been posted on the website of the electronic healthcare system E-Health.

In particular, since the beginning of the nationwide campaign, which is being implemented within the healthcare reform, 9 million 149 thousand 975 patients have signed declarations with primary care physicians - family doctors, therapists and pediatricians.

Also, as of June 20, 1,252 healthcare establishments and 21,910 primary care physicians have been registered in the E-Health system.

As Ukrinform reported, the nationwide campaign to select a primary care physician "Doctor for each family" was launched in Ukraine on April 2. Ukrainians have the opportunity to choose their doctor – a therapist, a pediatrician or a family doctor - regardless of the place of registration. To do this, Ukrainians need to come to the chosen specialist with documents and sign a declaration with him or her for the provision of primary health care services.
