The friends and acquaintances of Sentsov read his stories from the stage, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Actor and director Akhtem Seitablayev, Boombox frontman Andriy Khlyvniuk, actress Rimma Zyubina and others have already joined the action.
As reported, Ukrainian film director and political prisoner Oleg Sentsov, sentenced by a Russian court to 20 years of imprisonment in a high-security penal colony on trumped-up charges of plotting terrorist acts on the territory of the annexed Crimea, went on a hunger strike on May 14, demanding the release of all Ukrainian political prisoners held in Russia.
There are currently 64 Ukrainian political prisoners held in Russia and the annexed Crimea, including Ukrinform correspondent Roman Sushchenko, who was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment in a high-security penal colony for alleged espionage in Russia.
