Zhebrivsky, Latvian ambassador discuss issues of cooperation in Donetsk region

"The situation is improving, the wounds are healing and the war is retreating - such conclusions were made by Juris Poikāns, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine, who as part of the Latvian delegation was on a working visit to Donetsk region. Yesterday, the representatives of Latvia visited Bakhmut and Bakhmut district, today they went to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk," Zhebrivsky wrote on Facebook.

He thanked the representatives of Latvia for hosting entrepreneurs from Donetsk region, conducting training sessions, showing the development of businessg in Europe, and establishing business contacts.

Poikāns assured that the cooperation in this direction would continue. In addition, he expressed readiness to cooperate with local communities, in particular, to take one of the united territorial communities created in Donetsk region under his patronage.

"Our Latvian colleagues are interested in the experience of Ukrainian law enforcers and doctors working in the war conditions. We assured that we will be happy to host specialists from Latvia and share our experience with them," Zhebrivsky stressed.
