Ukrainian leaders commemorate victims of WWII. Photos

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, the patriarchs of various churches and the veterans have laid flowers to the Memorial of Eternal Glory in Kyiv.

The government officials and Ukrainian servicemen also have taken part in the ceremony of commemorating the victims of the World War II on the occasion of the 73d anniversary of the Victory over Nazism, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The Head of State was the first to lay flowers to the Eternal Flame. The memory of the deceased in the World War II was honored with a moment of silence and afterwards the National Anthem of Ukraine was performed,
