Ukraine’s infrastructure minister promises to complete repair of Odesa-Reni road this year

This issue was discussed during a meeting of the Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine with Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Maksym Stepanov, the Infrastructure Ministry reported.

"Odesa region has demonstrated good dynamics in the restoration of roads. A lot has been already done, and I thank the head of the region for quality teamwork aimed at the result. This year, the repair of the Odesa-Reni highway is number one issue. I sincerely want this route to be the best in 2018. This is an instruction of the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister, and we must do it. We will make every effort to do this," Omelyan said at a briefing following the meeting.

The infrastructure minister notes that the roads are built with at least a five-year warranty.

At the same time, Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Maksym Stepanov stresses that the repair of the Odesa-Reni highway is a key issue on the agenda of the local authorities' work.
