Ukraine’s government allocates almost UAH 1 bln for primary education

The Government of Ukraine allocates almost UAH 1 billion to finance the primary education.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman posted this on Facebook.

"How the new Ukrainian school will look like? Spacious rooms, modern technology, comfortable furniture and new books. We are implementing a completely different standard of studies so that little Ukrainians would become intelligent, responsible, capable of discovery and innovation," the Prime Minister wrote.

According to him, 40% of the allocated sum will be spent on purchase of didactic materials, 40% - purchase of modern furniture for primary school, 20% - purchase of computer equipment.

"The Government allocates another UAH 386 million for teachers' skill improvement. Such a large amount is invested in the primary education for the first time in Ukraine," Groysman added.
