Actual salary of Ukrainians grew 19% in 2017 - Social Policy Ministry

The actual salary of Ukrainians grew by 19.1% in 2017.

First Deputy Social Policy Minister Olha Krentovska said this at a meeting of the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The average monthly salary of full-time employees grew by almost 70% in 2016-2017. The actual salary after the decline in 2014-2015 increased by 9% in 2016, and by 19.1% in 2017, while the level of absolute poverty among working people decreased by 18.5 percentage points," said Krentovska.

According to her, "such an improvement of the situation lays the basis for future reforms in the field of labor".
