The servicemen of the 57th motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have captured a "DPR" militant who turned out to be a Russian citizen, reads a report posted on the brigade's page on Facebook.

"The servicemen of the 57th brigade captured a militant of illegal armed formations, who turned out to be a citizen of the Russian Federation," the report reads.

It also notes that in this way "we again showed the international community who is fighting on the side of illegal formations and what kind of 'civil war' rages in Ukraine."

The brigade page also posted photos of the detainee and his documents - a passport of a Russian citizen and a "temporary identity document of the DPR".

According to a "certificate" issued by the so-called "military commissariat of the DPR," the detained man is 47 years old and he holds the post of a driver/mechanic.
