Justice Ministry recovers over UAH 450 mln in alimony debts in 2017

Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko stated this during Government Question Hour meeting held in the Verkhovna Rada today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. 

“Since the beginning of last year, the Justice Ministry of Ukraine in line with the current provisions of the law and approved amendments managed to collect about half a billion, namely UAH 450 million, in favor of Ukrainian children. We are speaking about 441,000 children," said Petrenko.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, the State Executive Service in 2017 transferred more than UAH 2.1 billion to the state budget, including UAH 800 million of executive fees.
