Ambassador of Sweden and Head of Council of Europe Office discuss cooperation with young people of Mariupol

Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Hagström and Head of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine Мårten Ehnberg meet with young people of Mariupol to discuss opportunities for cooperation.

This was reported by the press service of Mariupol City Council.

"Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boichenko, Swedish Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Hagström and Head of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine Мårten Ehnberg together with representatives of youth organizations discussed the possibilities for cooperation," the report reads.

In a welcoming speech, Boichenko notes that Mariupol needs consulting assistance in the issues of development of public activity and, in particular, youth policy.

In turn, Ehnberg states that none of important decisions in Sweden is made without civil society.

During the meeting, the mayor of Mariupol set a task to create a Youth Parliament this year.
