Ukraine's Antonov Airlines has taken a direct part in preparations for the launch of Elon Musk's project - the Falcon Heavy rocket, Ukraine's Embassy in the United States has reported on Facebook.

"On Tuesday, American company SpaceX successfully completed the first test launch of the Falcon Heavy rocket from the launch site at Cape Canaveral, Florida, the United States. Ukraine's Antonov Airlines took a direct part in preparations for the launch by providing its An-124-100 Ruslan aircraft for the transportation of rocket parts," the report says.

The report notes that the issue concerns part of the main fairing of the rocket with its dimensions that can get only into such a powerful cargo aircraft as the Ukrainian Ruslan.

According to the embassy, a month ago, the Ukrainian plane traveled 3,613 kilometers for 4.5 hours, ensuring timely delivery of the Falcon Heavy parts for the timely launch of the rocket from the launch site at Cape Canaveral.
