David Beckham has used Under the Oak track by DakhaBrakha Ukrainian band in a video advertisement of his own brand House 99.
As the band’s art manager Iryna Horban says, the negotiations regarding the use of the track lasted about six months.
"We are happy that our music can be relevant in any areas of life as well as in any countries of the world," she said.
In addition, Under the Oak track appeared in the third season of the American TV series Fargo.
DakhaBrakha is a Ukrainian folk quartet which combines the musical styles of several ethnic groups. The band now mainly gives concerts abroad.
