Mariupol city council purchases 43 apartments for IDPs

The Mariupol City Council has purchased 43 apartments totaling UAH 20.2 million for internally displaced persons (IDPs).

This was reported by the press office of the Mariupol City Council on Tuesday.

"The Mariupol City Council has purchased 43 apartments (10 one-room, 18 two-room, 14 three-room, 1 four-room) for a total amount of UAH 20.2 million in order to create a housing fund for the internally displaced persons," the report reads.

As noted, the apartments were purchased according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on approving the procedure and conditions for granting subsidies from the state budget to local budgets for the implementation of measures to support the regions that suffered negative consequences as a result of the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine.
