"According to preliminary data, 2.4 million tourists visited Ivano-Frankivsk region last year. The tourist tax amounted to UAH 3 million, which made 130.4% of the 2016 index," the report reads.
According to the press service, Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kosiv traditionally remained the leaders in the development of tourism. Nadvirna and Horodenka regions and the town of Kolomyia showed the highest increase in the tourist tax of 2017.
