Warmest December night recorded in Kyiv

The night of December 26, 2017 in Kyiv was the warmest one since 1881.
“According to observations of the meteorological station of the Central Geophysical Observatory, the last night was the warmest one in Kyiv since December 26, 1881. The temperature did not drop below + 3.1 ° С, which is 0.3 ° С higher than the previous historical temperature for this date, registered in the year before last,” reads the statement of the Central Geophysical Observatory.
This air temperature exceeds the climatic norm by 8 degrees and corresponds to the usual weather regime in late October.
