Kyiv City Council approves concept for healthcare development in the capital

The relevant decision was approved by 85 deputies, the press service of the capital’s government reports.

"The concept for the development of healthcare in the city of Kyiv envisages the action plan and roadmap that should set the direction of the city's medicine improvement. In fact, this is a clearly defined list of tasks for the authorities, developing the capital’s medicine, taking into account the requirements of time and amended legislation,” Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznyk noted.

According to him, the main goal of the healthcare system improvement in the capital is to ensure the right of every citizen to have access to high-quality medical services, the introduction of procedures for rational use of budgetary funds and available resources, and creation of favorable working conditions for medical personnel.
