Hrynevych: Bill on general secondary education should be submitted to parliament in spring

Education and Science Minister Lilia Hrynevych has said that a draft law on general secondary education should be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada in spring 2018.
She told this to journalists before a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I hope that we will manage to submit it to the Verkhovna Rada in spring. This means, it should be approved by all the central government bodies, the Cabinet of Ministers, and then this law will be introduced,” Hrynevych said.
She also added that this bill should be approved during the summer session of the parliament so that “we could have the new law on general secondary education before the start of a new school year”.
