Foreign Ministry warns Ukrainian against traveling to New Delhi

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has advised Ukrainian citizens to refrain from traveling to the Indian capital New Delhi due to the heavy pollution there.

The Foreign Ministry reported this on Twitter with a reference of the Ukrainian Embassy in the Republic of India.

“Despite the efforts of local authorities, the environmental situation associated with heavy air pollution remains complicated in the Indian capital New Delhi. In this regard, the Ukrainian citizens are advised to consider the mentioned environmental situation when planning a trip to New Delhi, as well as during their stay in the Indian capital,” reads a report.

The embassy informed that according to official data, air pollution levels are 6-8 above the maximum safe limit.
