300km tourist route to be formed in Odesa region

A new tourist route with a length of 295.12 km may appear in Odesa region next year.

As the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration informs, the route will become a part of the pilot project for the development of active tourism in Ukraine. In particular, it is planned to create a separate large tourist route to link the three southern regions of Ukraine: Odesa, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions.

The tourist route will contain more than 16 sites, including the “Ukrainian Venice” Vylkove village, the Akkerman Fortress, the Tuzly Lagoons National Nature Park, the famous Odesa city catacombs and other architectural attractions.

In addition, the list of sites will include entertainment and sports facilities: water park, diving center, equestrian club and club for climbers.
