The draft state budget for 2018 envisages UAH 509 million for the development of inclusive education in Ukraine.

Deputy Education and Science Minister Pavlo Hobzey stated this during the international conference “Inclusion for All: Policy of Education and Practice,” an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“There is an inclusive education subvention. This year it totals UAH 209 million, next year this amount will be increased up to UAH 509 million," Hobzey said.

The deputy minister also noted that the number of children learning in inclusive classes at Ukrainian comprehensive schools grew from 4,000 in 2016 to more than 6,000 children in 2017.
