Over 60% of Ukrainians support accession to NATO - deputy PM

Sixty-two percent of Ukrainian citizens are ready to vote for Ukraine's accession to NATO.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The official said this as part of a working visit to France at a meeting with French presidential adviser on European affairs Clement Beaune, referring to a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.
In addition, the survey shows that 57% of Ukrainians support the country's joining the EU. At the same time, support for the European vector in Ukraine is growing - from 49% in February this year to 53% in May.
The share of opponents of Ukraine's accession to the EU over this period decreased from 28% to 17%.
