Petrenko: Increase in pensions not to cancel the right for subsidies

Ukrinform
Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko has stated that those pensioners, whose pensions have been raised in line with the law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Pensions Increase," will not be deprived of the right to receive a subsidy.

Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko wrote this on Facebook.

"I want to dispel a myth that after the Ukrainian government increases pensions for 9 million pensioners, these citizens will be deprived of the right to a subsidy. It is completely untrue," Petrenko said.

He noted that a person may be deprived of the right to a subsidy in cases clearly defined by the law, namely: if a person provides false information, if the number of persons, who live or are registered in the relevant house or apartment, have changed, if the person independently applied for the termination of the granting of a subsidy.
