"Severodonetsk is a special town for me. I've already been here three times. The last time I came together with President Poroshenko to open a restored theater. Every spring the cherry trees are very beautiful, and I hope that every spring, when cherry trees will blossom, the residents of Severodonetsk will remember the people of Japan who also feel great sympathy with the people of Ukraine," Shigeki Sumi announced at the opening ceremony, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
As of October 17, 760 cherry trees were planted in Ukraine.
