Oleg Sentsov writes five screenplays in Russian prison – filmmaker Seitablayev

Being imprisoned in a Russian penal colony, Ukrainian political prisoner, director Oleg Sentsov does not forget about filmmaking.

Crimean Tatar actor and filmmaker Akhtem Seitablayev said this during the presentation of the book Oleg Sentsov, Crimea. Realities portal reports.

"He uses this time [imprisonment] and has already written five screenplays. I hope he will return home soon and shoot films based on his scripts," Seitablayev said.

The book Oleg Sentsov consists of collection of memories of people who know Sentsov well, abstracts of his books and screenplays and extracts from records of interrogation of witnesses in his case. The book also contains many photos taken from the family archive and made in the courtroom.
