Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has expressed condolences to the families of those killed in an explosion outside the office of the Espreso television channel in Kyiv and urged law enforcement officers to solve this deadly crime as soon as possible.

The head of state wrote about this on his Facebook page on Thursday.

"I express my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the explosion near the Espreso television channel. I sincerely wish recovery to those wounded. I strongly demand that law enforcement agencies immediately solve this deadly and brutal crime," the statement reads.

As reported, five people, including MP Ihor Mosiychuk and political analyst Vitaliy Bala, were injured in an explosion outside the office of the Espreso TV channel in Kyiv late on October 25.

It was reported later that one more person injured in the explosion, 36-year-old Mykhailo Mormil, who served as an employee of the legal department at the Interior Ministry until 2015, had died in hospital.
