Switzerland allocates Ukraine humanitarian aid worth $150 thousand

The Swiss Government has allocated humanitarian aid worth $150 thousand to eastern Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine.

"Within the 7th humanitarian mission on October 18, 2017, the Humanitarian Aid Department of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation under the coordination of the Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and IDPs of Ukraine sent another humanitarian cargo totaling $150 thousand," the statement reads.

According to the Ministry, a complete set of medical equipment and necessary consumables (reagents) was delivered to a TB dispensary in Luhansk.

It should be noted that, in cooperation with the Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and IDPs, the Government of Switzerland during 2016-2017 sent 720 tons of humanitarian goods worth 1.45 million dollars and 1,635 tons of chemical reagents for water purification, medical equipment, laboratory for the early detection of tuberculosis activists, and apparatus to determine Influenza A virus and Influenza B virus worth 1.48 Swiss francs.
