Ukrainian Foreign Minister: Romania ready for open dialogue on education law

Romania is ready for an open dialogue with Ukraine regarding the implementation of the language provision of the Law of Ukraine "On Education".

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote this on his Twitter page.

"Situation in Romania differs completely from that in Hungary. There is willingness for an open dialogue, but we need to work with the local community," Klimkin wrote.

As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin is on a working visit to Bucharest on October 13, where he is to hold talks with Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu and Minister for Romanians Abroad Andreea Pastirnac and to meet with the delegation of the Romanian Parliament on initiating a dialogue with Ukrainian institutions to ensure the protection of rights of the Romanian minority in Ukraine.

On October 12, minister Klimkin paid a visit to Budapest, where he had a frank conversation with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto regarding the new Law of Ukraine "On Education".
