Education reform 2018 requires UAH 3 billion – education minister

The reform of education for the next year requires UAH 3 billion from the state budget.
Education and Science Minister Lilia Hrynevych said this to journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Different positions, which are quite innovative, concerning the reform itself require more than UAH 3 billion for the next year," she noted.
In particular, the minister says that money is needed to raise teachers' salaries by 25%, introduce an electronic platform, which, according to her, needs UAH 50 million, and teacher training that requires UAH 500 million and so on.
As Ukrinform reported, on September 5, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a new law "On Education".
