The Ukrainian government in 2018 will allocate about UAH 100 million to update the equipment of vocational schools, which is twice as much compared with this year.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman told this to journalists during his visit to the educational establishment Erudyt in Kyiv on September 1, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We are working to change education programs for vocational education, we have already started to buy new equipment - next year it will be [allocated] around 100 [UAH] million, this year UAH 50 million has been allocated for modernization," Groysman said.

He stressed that at present there is a need to create such professions in vocational schools that are urgently needed in the labor market.
