Over 1.5 mln IDPs registered in Ukraine

A total of 1,589,014 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Crimea and Donbas have been registered in Ukraine as of August 15, the press service of the Social Policy Ministry has reported.
"As of August 15, 2017, according to data from the structural departments of social protection of the population of the regional and Kyiv city state administrations, 1,589,014 IDPs or 1,278,714 families from Donbas and Crimea have been registered as of August 15, 2017," reads the report.
It also notes that over UAH 1.683 billion was paid to recipients of assistance as of August 15.
