Association of Women in Law Enforcement Agencies to be established in Ukraine

The Association of Women in Law Enforcement Agencies, the first one in Eastern Europe, will be created in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry wrote this on its official Facebook page.

"The Association of Women in Law Enforcement Agencies, the first one in Eastern Europe, will be established in Ukraine. Such an organization will have an impact on strengthening women’s voice and providing them with opportunities to change the current system and working methods within law enforcement agencies," reads the report.

The group will operate within the implementation of the three-year Police Training Assistance Project (PTAP), Agriteam Canada Consulting Ltd, with the full support of the Interior Ministry and the participation of European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM), according to the report.
