President Poroshenko signs law that specifies a notion of cultural heritage monument

President Petro Poroshenko signed a law on amending the law "On the Cultural Heritage Protection,” the Culture Ministry’s press service reports.
The amendments to Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Cultural Heritage Protection" envisage proper legal protection of those monuments that have the status of a protected monument under the previous legislation but have not yet been put into the current register, the Culture Ministry specified.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on amendments to the law of Ukraine “On the Cultural Heritage Protection"(with regard to the definition of a cultural heritage monument) on 25 May 2017.
