Traffic and passenger flow from mainland Ukraine to Crimea decreasing – Border Guard Service

The traffic and passenger flow from the mainland Ukraine to the annexed Crimea is gradually decreasing.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine posted this on Twitter.

"The traffic and passenger flow across the administrative border decreases every year," the statement reads.

According to the Service, the traffic flow has decreased by 63% since 2014: from 99,000 to 37,000. The number of citizens, who crossed the checkpoints at the entrance to Crimea, has decreased by 41%: from 389,000 to 230,000.
