California blood center presents Ukraine with bloodmobile

Central California Blood Center has presented Ukraine with a bus equipped with a mobile laboratory to collect blood from donors.
Deputy Healthcare Minister of Ukraine Oksana Sivak said this during a donor action held near the premises of the Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"This bloodmobile will go to one of the regions. The idea is to ensure the quality and availability of donor blood," Sivak said.
The bloodmobile is equipped with several places for donors, the necessary tools and a mobile laboratory.
She noted that the wounded Ukrainian servicemen, cancer patients, both adults and children, and a very wide category of patients in Ukraine are in need of blood transfusion every day.
