Number of people visiting Crimea drops by 25-30% - Slobodian

The number of people crossing the administrative border between the mainland of Ukraine and the occupied Crimea has decreased by 25-30% compared to the previous year.

Assistant to the Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleh Slobodian said this on the air of 112 Ukraine TV Channel, Ukrinform reports.

"If we compare the number of citizens and vehicles going to the occupied peninsula with last year, we see a decrease at the level of 25-30%," Slobodian said.

At the same time, he has noted that, as before, there is an increase in the number of people crossing this border at the weekend.
